Devlog #4
(Transfererd from Revue)
What's poppin'? Our topic for today is how we decide on the wireframe design. We also introduce a part of the game content.
[Wireframe design] We use Figma for the wireframe design. We love Figma because it is a great way to design quickly and edit the same file simultaneously 🙌🏻
To satisfy users who play Poppin, we organized the complex construction of character development and managing the characters, the operating status of the Popbites Factory, and the items.
[game contents]
"Popbites," the essential element in Poppin, is a key as you proceed in the game.
It's a bit unique way to get the Popbites --- you have to take a picture of your meal in real life! You will get some Popbites depending on your daily meal. For example, if you often eat Ramen, you would get Popbites related to Ramen or some nutritional supplements such as Popbites when you have a lot of dietary fiber.
You can keep your food journal automatically, so it might lead you to improve your eating habits or health awareness. Not to mention fun to play Poppin, one of our goals is to improve health awareness while playing it.
As we did a test play in October, we will use AI to generate the image of food. We've explained that users can directly cast a spell to create food images, but we decided to use it for another game function. We will use the knowledge of testers who have helped with the events! Thank you again for participating in Poppin. We will be able to share more specific details with you soon, so stay tuned in our devlog.
